She was born Aug. 21, 1935, in Springfield, the daughter of Maise and Alleen Watson Washington. She married Percy E. Crawford Sr.
Mrs. Crawford was a lifelong resident of Springfield and a homemaker. She was a member of Mothers of World War II Inc. Unit 5-F and a graduate of Chicago High School in Chicago.
Survivors: husband, Percy E.Craword Sr.; four sons, Alvin, William (wife, Dottie), Percy Jr. and Lee Arthur (wife, Karen) Crawford all of Springfield; five daughters, Alleen (husband, John) Thornton, Elvia Washington, Gladys (husband, Richard) Lane, Maria and Carmella Crawford all of Springfield; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a niece; and three nephews.
Services: Noon Friday, Victory Temple Church, the Rev. Jerry Doss Sr. officiating. W.W. White-Pettiford Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
