JOHN F. JUNG

John Fred Young (sic), 56, of 2008 Wollmer street, died at the Holy Family
hospital Thursday afternoon following an illness of five months.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Pfeffer
funeral home with the Rev. Ernest Zoerb officiating. Interment will be in
Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Jung was born in Peshtigo Dec. 4, 1887 and came to Manitowoc 33 years ago.
He married Miss Margaret Adler on May 4, 1912. For many years he was a foreman
of the roasting department at the Rahr Malting Company.
Survivors are the wife; two daughters, Mrs. Bernard Lensmeyer of Sheboygan
Falls and Elaine of San Francisco, Cal.; three sons, Melvin, Elwood and Robert
all at home; four sisters, Mrs. May Groessler and Mrs. Alma Jenson of Peshtigo
and Mrs. Minnie Albrecht and Mrs. F. J. Erdlitz of Milwaukee; and one grandchild.
Mr. Jung was a member of the local aerie of Eagles.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home until the time of the services.
