Mrs. Ana M. (Donovan) Corey, aged twenty-nine, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah N. S. Donovan Thursday night, May 3rd, of tuberculosis. She was born in West Brookfield and graduated from West Brookfield public schools and from Warren high school, class of 1917. After her graduation, she was employed during the war in the government department at Washington, where she was later married. After her illness developed she was a patient for several months at Lake Saranac, New York and later at Rutland, Massachusetts, but had been living at her home for the past two years. She leaves beside her parents, three brothers, Fred L., John H., of this town and George A. of Holyoke, also one sister, Faith of this town. Funeral services were held from the home Monday morning, followed by a high Mass of requiem celebrated in Sacred Heart church at (cannot read) by Rev. Patrick F. Doyle. Rev. Fr. Finneran, a former curate of the parish was seated in the sanctuary. Miss Anna M. O'Day was organist and her sister, Miss Teresa M. O'Day was soloist during the Mass. The bearers were (cannot read) P. Larose, Daniel McPevey, Frank McPevey, Bernard J. King of (cannoy read) Brookfield and John Mulvey of (cannot read). Burial was in the family lot in Pine Grove cemetery. Undertaker John T. Brosnihan of Ware was in charge of the funeral.
