Albert J. Bartley Services Thursday

Albert James Bartley, 70, of RD 4, died in the Jameson Memorial Hospital at 7 p.m. Monday following a three-week illness and services have been arranged for 1:30 p.m. Thursday from the McClelland Funeral Home in Harlansburg. Born in West Sunbury in Butler County July 24, 1892, he was the son of the late John C. and Mary Flak Bartley. For the past 30 years he has been the husband of the former Wilda McCracken, who survives him. He attended the Lutheran Church. Surviving is his wife and children; Albert W. Bartley of RD 4; James W. Bartley of County Line Rd.; Mrs. Phyllis Gruca of Slippery Rock RD 3; Marvin H. Bartley of Old Pittsburgh Rd.; Irl L. Bartley of Harlansburg Rd.; Dale M. Bartley of RD 4; a half-sister Mrs. Harriet Armstrong of RD 6; two brothers, Charles Bartley of Toledo; John C. Bartley of RD 2; a half-brother Frank Frisbee of New Castle and 19 grandchildren. Rev. J. Earl Hughes of East Brook U.P. will conduct the service Thursday at the funeral home where friends will be received today 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be in Plain Grove Presbyterian Cemetery.
