AYNOR | Thelma G. Johnson, 94, wife of the late William Goral Johnson, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2007 at Conway Manor. Mrs. Johnson was born in Galivants Ferry, South Carolina, a daughter of the late T.A. and Callie Martin Johnson. She was a charter member of the Aynor First Baptist Church and former owner of the Joyland Nursery. Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by one son, Billy Johnson; one grandson, Faron G. Johnson; and one brother, Worley Graham. Surviving Mrs. Johnson are one son, Jack D. Johnson and his friend, Jewel Bonds of Socastee; one daughter, Opal Dorsett and her husband, Tom, of Aynor; one sister, Earlease Perritt of Aynor; ten grand children; 17 great-grand children; five great-great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Mary Magdeline Johnson of Aynor; and a former daughter-in-law, Ernestine G. Johnson of Surfside. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at the Aynor First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gordan Graham and Glenn Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Aynor Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2007 at the funeral home. Please sign an online guest book at MyrtleBeachOnline.com.
