MARY SHERIDAN MOORHEAD
Mary Sheridan Moorhead, 50, of 18 Jeffrey Ave. died Sunday afternoon in Crestwood Care center following an extended illness.
Born March 4, 1935 in Shelby, she was an area resident all her life.
She was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
She had been employed at Shelby Mutual Insurance Co. and was a former employee at Crestwood Care Center.
Survivors include her husband, James; one son, Jeffrey of Lakeworth, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs Rick (Denise) Wicker of Kalama, Wash. and Traci, at home; and two grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers, Albert and James Sheridan of Shelby and Frederick of Mansfield; three sisters, Mrs. Roscoe Gene (Bernadette) Kuhn of York, Pa., Mrs. Robert (Esther) Kinstle of Galion and Mrs. Gerald (Ruth) Alt of New Washington, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cora and Fred Sheridan and two brothers, Gerald and Edward.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, with Rev. James E. Steinle officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours at Barkdull Funeral Home.
