COOPERSTOWN SEES PRETTY WEDDING EVENT
Bartelme-Kellner Nuptials Celebrated in that Village
A pretty church wedding was solemnized at St. James Church at Cooperstown at 9 o'clock this morning when Afra Bartelme and Ed Kellner were married in the presence of a large party of relatives and friends, Rev. Dusold officiating.
The bride was beautifully gowned in white charmeouse crepe and carried a shower bouquet of lilies of the valley. She was attended by Miss Olive Kellner, who wore a pink crepe de chien dress and carried pink carnations. George Bartelme was groomsman.
After the ceremony at the church the bridal party repaired to the home of the bride's parents where a wedding dinner was served, the home being beautifully decorated with carnations and lilies of the valley, the effect being carried out in pink and white. The bride is a daughter of John Bartelme of Cooperstown and is well known in this city where she has a host of friends. The groom is a son of Michael J. Kellner of Kellnersville and is associated with the firm of M. Kellner & Sons in business and is one of the county's progressive, hustling young businessmen.
Mr. and Mrs. Kellner departed on a honeymoon trip this afternoon and will visit at the Bartelme ranch at Bowman, N.D.,, where two of the bride's brothers are located. They will be at home to friends after June 1.
