Mattie M. Kilen, 94, of Tiffin, died at 10:25 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
Mattie was born Sept. 23, 1918, in Cootesstore, Va., to Jessie and Alma (Runion) Mathias. She married Kensel Kilen Jan. 11, 1941, in Canfield, and he preceded her in death.
Mattie is survived by three sons, David (Kathleen) Kilen and Edwin (Linda) Kilen, both of Tiffin, and Donald (Darlene) Kilen of Arizona; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jane Thaxton of Tiffin and Margaret Cross of Mansfield.
Mattie was a homemaker and attended St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin. Mattie was a graduate of Columbian High School.
Mattie also was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Norval, Paul and Jerry Mathias; and a sister, Bernice Biller.
Graveside services will be at Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin
