The Oklahoman, Monday, Dec 24, 1973: Graveside services for Mrs Lelia McClintic Holmes, 87, of 435 NW 21, will be at 1 pm Monday at Rose Hill Cemetery directed by Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Funeral Home. She died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital. Mrs Holmes was born in Texas and came to Oklahoma in 1900. She moved to Oklahoma City in 1908 and was a teacher for junior high schools in Oklahoma City and Norman. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She received her degree from Texas Christian University and her Masters Degree from Central State University (now the University of Central Oklahoma). She is survived by two granddaughters, Mrs Ron Murray, 501 NW 15; and Mrs Barbara Dulaney, 6609 NW Grand Blvd; and five great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
