Glenda M. Hackelberg, 76, of 1106 Koeppel Lane, Manitowoc, entered into eternal life on Friday evening, Aug. 17, 2012, at Kindred Hospital in Milwaukee, with her family by her side.

Glenda was born September 5, 1935, in Green Bay, daughter of the late Harold and Mable (Van Ess) Cederstrom. On May 9, 1956, she married Armen O. Hackelberg in Green Bay. Glenda was employed at Holy Family Memorial for 18 years in the housekeeping department until her retirement in 1999. She enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, cross word puzzles, going to tractor shows with her husband, playing Scrabble and spending time with family and friends. Glenda was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother who dearly loved her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Armen Hackelberg, Manitowoc; three sons, Greg Hackelberg, Eggland, N.D.; Kevin Hackelberg and special friend, Beckie Hoerth, Two Rivers; Wayne and Renee Hackelberg, Two Rivers; two grandchildren, Ryan Hackelberg, Two Rivers; and Jared Hackelberg, Two Rivers; two sisters, Emogene (Eugene) Reimer, Pound, Wis.; Sue Casarotto, Las Vegas, Nev.; and one brother, Harold Cederstrom Jr., Green Bay; two sisters in-law, Candice Mocco, Green Bay; Joy (Walter) Homeyer, Two Rivers; two brothers-in-law, Clyde Hackelberg, Two Rivers; Rick (Christa) Hackelberg, Jefferson, Wis. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by an infant child, Rose Marie Hackelberg; one sister and brother-in-law, Teola and Bob Kaye; one granddaughter, Nicole Hackelberg; one sister-in-law, Lois Brunette; and three brothers-in-law, Alan Hackelberg, Gene Brunette and Francis Mocco; one nephew, Johnny Kaye; father and mother-in-law, Owen and Margaret Hackelberg.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2601 S 10th Street, Manitowoc. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will follow at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
