Genevieve L. Swigart, 96, Mount Pulaski, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 22, 2012) at Vonderlieth Living Center, Mount Pulaski, Illinois.

She was born Aug. 18, 1916 in Lane, Illinois, the daughter of Francis and Rosa Bennett Miller. She married Harry W. Swigart in Missouri. He passed away on Aug. 11, 1965. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jerry S. Swigart; her parents; two sisters and one brother.

Survivors include five children, Cathy A. (David) Bassett; Thomas J. (Emma) Swigart; Daniel C. (Alice) Swigart; Eric L. (Zala) Swigart and Rose L. (Scott) Kennedy; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
