Hayley Brooke White, 14, Nickelsville, VA was embraced by the Healer's loving arms Monday morning, August 27, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Hayley was born in Sullivan County, TN on September 24, 1997 to Jeff and Kari Gray White.
She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Kari White, Nickelsville, VA; sister, Whitney Lauren White, Nickelsville, VA; maternal grandparents, Larry and Susan Gray, Jonesborough, TN and Ron and Diane Estepp, Weber City, VA; paternal grandparents, James and Betty White, Nickelsville, VA; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Weber City, VA with Dr. Lester Morelock officiating. Greg and Becky White will provide the music.
Burial will follow the service as Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Mitch Taylor, Randy Fish, Jody Wolfe, John Conklin, Todd Stubblefield, Matt Burns, Greg Noe, and John Brickey, III will serve as pallbearers. Hayley's friends at Gate City Middle School and Gate City High School will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Niswonger Children's Hospital, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, and Wellmont Hospice for their medical support of Hayley.
