Elwood--Grover Ross, 75, 1524 S. N. St., was dead on arrival at Mercy Hospital at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Born Jan 9, 1893 to Joshua and Ida Ross he was a retired union organizer. Mr Ross was a member of the United Christian Church and the Elwood Masonic Lodge.
Surviving with the widow, Gerna Kelley Ross, are five children, Grover Ross Jr of Fortville, Mrs Babara Kettery of Alexandria, John L. Kelley and Mrs Linda Taylor of Elwood and Mrs Geraldine Taylor of Taylor, Mich; one sister, Mrs Maude Foxworthy of Indianapolis; 18 grandchildren adn one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Richardson, officiating. Internment will be in the Elwood City Cemetery.
