Rogers - April 9, 2005 -Georgia Jean Zeitler, age 75, of 46985 Riffle Road died peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones at 6:25 p.m.
She was born May 15, 1929 in East Liverpool, daughter of John and Elizabeth Newlin Jones, and had lived in Rogers for the last 15 years, coming from Rosemount, Minnesota.
Mrs. Zeitler had been a Supervisor for the Van Duesen Aircraft Supply Company in Minneapolis, MN for 20 years, retiring in 1990.
She attended the East Fairfield United Methodist Church and was an avid bingo player.
Her husband, Wayne Leroy Zeitler whom she married January 30, 1946, preceded her in death February 6, 1991.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lucinda Dick of Leetonia, Mrs. Steve (Sally) Klug of Cedarburg, WI, Mrs. Shirley Bailey of Rosemount, MN, and Mrs. Verlyn (Susan) Fick of Sioux City, IA; two sons, Wayne Leroy Zeitler, Jr. of Rogers and David E (Diane) Zeitler of Robbinsdale, MN; a sister, Phyllis Pieron of Fairfax, VA; a brother, William Jones of East Liverpool; twelve grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Payne Zeitler; and five sisters, Carola Smith, Mary Oliver, Dorrie Hall, Gwen Tullis and Hebwig Elliott.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the East Fairfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mitchael R. Hennessey officiating. Burial will follow in the Crest Haven Memorial Gardens..
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the East Fairfield United Methodist Church.
