Born and raised in the Drexel Hill and Upper Chichester area, he met and married his wife Larissa settling in Linwood, PA before moving to Claymont, DE 17 years ago. He was a graduate from Chichester High, Class of 1981 and received his Associates degree from Pennsylvania Institute of Technology. Train Dispatcher for Amtrak for over 24 years, he was a member of Holy Rosary Church, he loved riding his Harley and attending many charitable events.
He also enjoyed golf, fishing. and camping. Ken is preceded in death by his loving wife Larissa "Ris" Mathews MacDonald who died in 2010 and his father Kenneth A. MacDonald Sr. who died in 2009. Survivors: Son Kenneth A. MacDonald III; mother Eleanor Severino MacDonald; sisters Denise A. (David) Kunzig and Karen L. (Thomas Jr.) Baney; brother Brian R. (Jacklyn) MacDonald; nieces and nephews Alexis, Gabrielle, Thomas III and Nicholas Baney, Daniel Kunzig and Michael and Madison MacDonald; extended family, Carlos Carter and a companion Julia George.
