An employee of the body department of the company for the past three years, Mr. Ansel suddenly became ill at work.
An ambulance was called and he was taken to the Memorial General Hospital where he was pronounced dead-on-arrival.
Mr. Ansel was born at Springfield, W. Va., September 11, 1894, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wood E. Ansel.
He had lived in Elkins for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kathleen (Fredlock) Ansel; a daughter, Mrs. Florence Reed, Santa Rosa, Calf., three sisters; three brothers; and two grandchildren.
