Arthur W. Woody Woodford, of West Roxbury, Sept. 4, 2012. Father of Craig, Sean, Brian and Lynn. Step-father of David Browning and his wife Liz, Ann Gorman and her husband Gerry and Elizabeth Browning, all of Dorchester and Patrick Browning (B.P.D.) and his wife Carla of West Roxbury. Step-grandfather of Monica, Ronan, William and Colin Gorman and Dylan Gleeson. Brother of Jean Beswick, Helen McNeil, Walter Woodford and the late Marion. Uncle of Diane and Kevin Beswick, Laurie Bettinson and Thomas Salamone. Dear friend of Eileen Browning. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Site Inspector for the Boston Water and Sewer for 42 years. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury, Friday, Sept. 7 at 8:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 10 oclock. Visiting hour prior to Mass from 8:30 | 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery.
