The former Caroline Wines was born July 17, 1902 in Town of Wagner and was married to Harvey Poquette on April 20,1928 in Marinette. He died Feb. 7, 1962. Mrs. Poquette was formerly employed at Marinette General Hospital and at Menominee County Lloyd Hospital. She was also employed at one time at Davis Restaurant in Marinette.
Mrs. Poquette was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marinette.
Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Clarence Niemojuski of Two Rivers, WI and Miss Marion Poquette and Mrs. Cecelia Kline, both of Marinette, WI;
two sons: Harvey of Menominee, MI and William of Marinette;
a stepdaughter Mrs. Raymond Cramer of Marinette;
a brother Charles Wines of Peshtigo, WI;
21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A daughter Mrs. Stanley Wozniak, died February 18, 1974.
Friends may call at Zeitler-Purath funeral home in Marinette from 4 to 9 p.m. today. Final rites will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Joseph's Church with the Rev. James Feely officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. A parish wake service will be held at the funeral home tonight at 7 p.m.
