83, passed away on September 6, 2012 in St. Francis Hospital South. She was born on March 15, 1929 in Indianapolis to the late Forest and Alice (Tinsley) Wells.
Betty had been married to the late Chuck Marchwinski and previously to the late Vernon G. Garard.
Betty lived in Indianapolis for 50 years and in Mooresville since 1955. She was the assistant personell manager for Balkamp Inc in Indianapolis since 1955. She was currently a member of the Ladies Auxilliary of Mooresville VFW.
Betty is survived by her son, John (Trudy) Appleby of Georgia; 2 daughters, Terry (William) Creeth, of Indianapolis and Peggy Mobley, of Beech Grove; 9 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 3 husbands and brother, Donald Wells.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in Jones Family Mortuary , Mooresville. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 with Terry Crist officiating. Betty will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery.
