Russian Orthodox Saint, Royalty. He was the son of Vladimir and the grandson of Saint Olga as well as the brother of Saint Gleb. This innocent prince was killed by his half brother who wanted the throne to himself. Boris and his brother Gleb would not commit violence to protect themselves so they gently submitted to their murder rather then spill blood. Boris is the patron of Moscow and Russia and his Feast Day is July 24th. During the invasion of the Golden Horde his remains were destroyed.
