Raymond E. Albertson, 81, of Center Valley, formerly of Fort Myers, Fla. and Hellertown, died on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, in St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Irene (Kelhart) Albertson and the late Rosemary (Glancy) Albertson. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Raymond and M. Estelle Faseno. An entrepreneur, he owned ABE Leasing Company and Albertson Furniture, both in Hellertown. Ray managed several local car dealerships, combining his love of cars and business. He was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Society, where he was involved in Pastoral Care. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fort Myers. He sang in the choir at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, Hellertown and St. Columbkill in Florida. He was a past member of the Hellertown American Legion.
Survivors: His wife, Irene; children, Carol Herman and her husband, Stewart, of Lower Saucon Township, Raymond and his wife, Rose, of Center Valley, Chris of Bennington, N.H., Renee Hans and her husband, James, of Easton, Lisa Dundon and her husband, Brian, of Milford, Ohio, John Drago in California; grandchildren, Craig, William, Ryan, James, Jesse, Nathan, Deseree, Isaac, Ashley, Lauren; great-grandchildren, William, Kaid, Sean, Maya.
