Weis, Carl A., age 71, Crete, NE formerly rural Hallam, NE died Sunday, September 2, 2012 at his home in Crete. He was born September 5, 1940 in Salina, KS to Alvin and Charlotte (Berg) Weis. Carl was a co-owner of Lacy-Regher Ford Dealership in McPherson, KS. He was a member of the Hallam Congregational United Church of Christ, the Wichita Thunderbird Club, and the Region 6 Caterpillar Club. Carl was a farmer, and an automobile and tractor restorer. He collected model cars and tractors, and loved John Deere Tractors. Carl was a gifted man who could restore and mechanically repair anything he attempted.
