Jay Farris was the son of Miles Thomas Farris (1853 KY - 1914 OK, Find A Grave 79459228, whose tombstone is inaccurately inscribed with a death year of 1915) and Lucinda Mourning Farris (1859/1860 IL - 1944 KS).
