SPRINGFIELD - William "Bill" Joseph Jensen Jr., 38, of Springfield died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, in Taylorville, the result of a skydiving accident.
He was born June 4, 1966, in Princeton, the son of William "Bike" and Ruth Croegaert Jensen Sr. He married Karen Bullard in 1993.
Mr. Jensen graduated from Illinois State University. He was a self-employed computer consultant. He was a member of First General Baptist Church, Praise Band, the Springfield Road Runners Club and the Springfield Bicycle Club.
Survivors: wife, Karen; son, Joshua "Josh" Jensen of Springfield; daughter, Anna Raye Jensen of Springfield; father and stepmother, William and Judith Jensen Sr. of Princeton; grandmother, Mary Jensen of Princeton; sister, Barb (husband, Eric) Doubet of Annawan; two brothers, Rich (wife, Ann) Gerrond of Texas and Dennis (wife, Missy) Jensen of Atkinson; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Staab Funeral Home, the Rev. Clint Cook and the Rev. Homer Hanshaw officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
