Bertha E. Kasper, 89, always known as "Betsey," Golden Valley, died peacefully, June 13, 2007, at the Knife River Care Center, Beulah. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Thursday, June 21, at Golgotha Lutheran Church, Golden Valley, with the Rev. Richard Melchert officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. MDT Wednesday, at Seibel Funeral Home, Beulah.

Betsey is survived by her only child, Kenneth and his companion, Ginnette Ehli, Golden Valley; three grandchildren, Kerry DeCoteau, Jaken Kasper and Lindsay Kasper; and four great-grandchildren, Sarah, Sage, Savannah and Trinity.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jake; and all of her eight siblings, Clara Simpfenderfer, Francis Radovich, Ruth Smida, Deen Brecht, Jack Brecht, Bill Brecht, Noreen Aipperspach and Jim Brecht.
