Civil War Veteran to Be Buried From Son's Home Today
Funeral services for Edwin J. Price, who died in the United States Naval Home on Tuesday, will be held this afternoon at the home of a son, Benjamin Price, with interment in Mount Peace Cemetery.
Mr. Price, who was born in Maryland and received his education at the Delaware University was 76 years old. He had been an inmate of the Naval Home for the last two years. At the outbreak of the Civil War he enlisted in the Delaware
Union navy on board the Penobscot and taking part in the blockade of the Gulf of Mexico.
In addition to his son, Mr. Price is survived by a widow and two daughters."
