Eldon E. Rench, 78, of Greenville, died Thursday evening, September 20th, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Rench was born in rural Arcanum on May 4, 1934, the son of the late William and Esther E. (Grace) Rench.
He was a 25 year employee of Franklin Monroe High School retiring in 1996 and a Monroe Township farmer.
He was a member of Pleasant View Missionary Church, Greenville.
Mr. Rench was preceded in death by his son Kenneth Rench, sisters Mildred Edmondson, Waneeta Wick, Avis LaPrisse, and Helen Cates, brothers Charles and Kenneth Rench.
Eldon is survived by his wife Pauline (Harshbarger) Rench, whom he married November 19, 1955; daughters Margaret Fritts and husband Bob and Sara Shaffer and husband Loren both of Greenville; 4 grandchildren A.J. Fritts, Shaun Wade, Jessica Rench, and Kenny Lee Rench; Great Granddaughter Chloe Wade; Brother Jeston "Jake" Wiest of Greenville; Sister Mary Ellen Goubeaux of Arcanum.
Private Family Graveside Services will be held at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville with Pastor Rob Dauber officiating.
The family will receive relatives and friends publicly Sunday 2 - 5 PM at Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum.
