JAMES R McCACHREN 53 of 351 S Main Homer City died Saturday Oct 29 at the Indiana Hospital.

The son of Harry and Zola Miller McCachren, he was born April 5, 1935, in Brush Valley Township. Mr McCachren was a member of St Louis Roman Catholic Church. He had been employed for 23 years in management at Robertshaw Controls Indiana and more recently at the Indiana County Area School.

Surviving are his wife Arlene Castellani McCachren one daughter Kimberly Ann; two sisters Mrs Frank (Elda) English, Warren, Ohio; Mrs Gerald (Mary) Walker, New Kensington and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2-4 Saturday and 7-9 Sunday at the Funeral Home, Homer City where the Rosary will be recited. A prayer service will be held at at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St Louis Roman Catholic Church with the Rev Fr Joseph E Turek as the celebrant. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
