The body of Mr. Reginald W. Jenkins, who died on February 12, in New York, was brought to Baltimore on Sunday last and buried in the family vault in Bonnie Brae Cemetery. The burial was private and attended only by the immediate family and relatives.

Mr. Jenkins was a son of the late M. Courtenay and Caroline Jenkins, and a member of the well-known Jenkins family of Maryland. Although a resident of and engaged in active business in New York for more than 30 years, he was noted among his associates for loyalty to his native State and the faith of his fathers. His lineage in Maryland dates from the foundation of the province and State, his paternal ancestor, James Courtenay, having been a member of the first recorded Provincial Assembly, and a paternal ancestor, Edward Plowden, was a member of the first recorded State Legislature. He was also a lineal descendant of Sir Edmund Plowden, founder of New Alblon (now New Jersey), and of Giles Brent, Governor of the province of Maryland, 1643 to 1647.

Mr. Jenkins was educated at St. Mary's College, Emmitsburg, where he graduated with honors, and was recognized as a man of unusual learning. High sense of duty was the law of his life. His ready sit, genial humor and generous heart endeared him to many friends.

Mr. Jenkins is survived by a wife, son and daughter, who reside in New York; a brother, Mr. Oliver L. Jenkins, and his sister, Mrs. Edmund Plowden Jenkins. The late Mrs. Columbus O'Donnell was also a sister.
