Anna was the second of four children {two daughters & two sons} born to John & Mary (Rocky) Goedert.

On 13 November 1900, Anna married John Hutterer at Saint Anne Catholic Church in Francis Creek, WI; she was age 24, he was 26. Born in 1874, John was the only son born to Joseph & Katherina (Schroepper) Hutterer; however he had five half-siblings from his father's first marriage, which ended with the death of his first wife, Theresa.
