"ROSEBOOM - Mrs. Elizabeth A. Becker, aged 75, died on June 21, in the McDonough Nursing Home in Worcester, where she had been confined for eight months. She was born in Engelsbrun, Hungary, on October 11, 1880, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Sunday) Schuch. She was married to John Becker, Sr. on August 20, 1897, and they came to this country in 1900, residing on a farm in North Dakota for 20 years. They moved to New York City and in 1950 came to this community. Mr. Becker died about six months ago. Mrs. Becker was a member of St. Thomas' Church in Cherry Valley. Surviving are three sons, John, Buffalo; Louis Bremen and Anton, both of Cherry Valley; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Zanzer, Tampa, Fla. and Mrs. John Willmerth, Roseboom; a sister, Mrs. Ann Zauner, Engelsbrun and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren ...
