Thorp, beloved husband of Rosemary, nee Brehm; loving father of Pamela (William) Krueger, Laura (Tom) O'Connor, Lynn (Daniel) Del Ricco, Sharon (Daniel) Hahn, Edward (Teresa) and Paul Thorp; proud grandpa of 11 and great-grandpa of two; dear brother of the late Evelyn Ellinghausen and the late Robert Thorp; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Korean War Veteran. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday, 9 a.m. from Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge to St. Denis Church, 8301 S. St. Louis Ave., Chicago. Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Denis Church would be appreciated. For funeral info, 708-422-2700
