James L. Reif, age 69, lost his 19 month battle with cancer on December 7, 2010. Jim was the second son of Jerome and Doris (TD) Reif, was born on October 7, 1941.

He is survived by his mother Doris, and brothers Jerome, Dennis (Lynne), Tom (Dawn) and Lyn, all of Peshtigo, WI.

On August 12, 1961, Jim married his high school sweetheart Nan Wyss-Behnke, who survives him along with their daughters:
Kim (Dean) Schoeberl and their sons Derek and Nick of Rochester, MN;
Sue (Mark) Immel and their children Logan, Paige and Brooke of Peshtigo, WI.

Jim is survived by his current wife of 36 years, Donna Guenther-Johnson and his 2 dogs, Artie and Cheers, who will miss him terribly.

Jim was an owner of White Front Garage and White Front Sales, along with his partner Gene Kaempf of Peshtigo and John Kaempf of Belgrade, MT. Jim retired in 2006 when the property was sold. He was an active member of First American Lutheran Church in Oconto, an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He also enjoyed the great outdoors. Many hours were spent hunting and fishing with the guys from the 'Rat Shack'. Jim inherited his passion for driving horses and ponies from his Grandpa Stanley Garrigan. A member of the NE Wisconsin Miniature Horse Club, Jim enjoyed driving in the local parades and participated at many of the county "Breakfast on the Farm" evens. Nothing pleased him more than to see a child's face light up when he gave them a ride in a pony cart.
