He was born January 24, 1920, in Waynesburg, a son of Emmett and Tillie Gilbert Lippencott.
A life resident of the Waynesburg area, Mr. Lippencott was a retired construction worker and farmer. He had also worked as a blacksmith and groom. His hobbies were reading, gardening, quilting and making candy.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Army Engineers in the European Theater.
Surviving are a sister, Shirley Montblanc of Metairie, La., and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a sister, Dale Bedilion, and a brother, George Lippencott.
