Maribelle Wilson Reid, age 86, of Burtchville Twp., died May 18, 2004 in Evangelical Home, Port Huron, Michigan. She was born March 28, 1918 in Roseburg, Michigan to Frank and Hattie (Donnenworth) Wilson. On June 10, 1939 she married William Thompson Reid at her parent's home in Fremont Township.

Maribelle was a member of the Central Lakeport United Methodist Church and the St. Clair County Farm Bureau.

She is survived by three daughters: Mr. and Mrs. Arthur (Shirley) Montross of Lakeport; Joanne Crain of Upland, California, and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald (Martha) Davey of Fort Gratiot; two sons: Mr. and Mrs. James W. (Pamela) Reid of Jeddo and Robert J. Reid of Burtchville Township; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Mr. & Mrs. Russell (Bernetia) Wilson, Mr. & Mrs. Frank (Winnie) Wilson and Mr. & Mrs. William (Elouise) Wilson; and four sisters: Pauline Noble, Jean Shell, Helen Brown and Donna Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

Maribelle was preceded in death by two grandsons, Danny Turner and Gerald Turner; a brother, Howard Wilson; and a son-in-law, Dean Spencer.

Funeral services were held May 22, 2004 in Central Lakeport U.Methodist Church. Burial was in Burtchville Twp. Cemetery, Lakeport. Pallbearers were her six granddaughters.
