A native of the town of Marblehead, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Phillips) Pitman. She is survived by Mrs. Charles Goodwin and Miss Nellie Graves of Marblehead and Mrs. Richard B. Harris of Seattle, Washington; one son, James C. Graves, Jr. of Hartford, Conn.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Samuel H. Brown of Marblehead.
Funeral services under the direction of George Nichols, funeral director, were held from her late home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Thomas Marks officiating.
Committal was in Waterside cemetery with Mr. Marks reading the committal prayers. There were many lovely floral bouquets from friends and relatives of the deceased.
