Lexie A. Knutson, age 89, of 5220 Cty. Trk. VV, Two Rivers, died Monday morning, March 20, 1995, at North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 1995, at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, town of Kossuth. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Isidro Carrera and entombment will follow.

He was born October 4, 1905, in Ellison Bay, Wis., son of the late Herbert and Christina Johnson Knutson. He served during World War II with the United States Army from 1942 until 1945. Lexie was a self-employed commercial fisherman in Two Rivers for many years until his retirement in 1971.

Survivors include a special nephew and spouse, Gerald and Yvonne Zimmer, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by 13 brothers and sisters.

The family will greet friends at the Mausoleum from 1 p.m. until the time of service.

There will be no Monday night visitation.

The Klein and Stangel Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
