While making an approach to Hickham, AFB, Hawaii at 0216 AM in the morning from the west. The aircraft impacted "PaliKea" mountain just outside US Naval Magazine,Naval Ammunition Depot NAD (Oahu), Lualualei. No survivors were noted. His home of record was Chicago, Illinois. The remains were recovered and returned to Chcago. He was survived by his parents Simon & Mary Bauer of Chicago. Rest in peace, ALOHA. This site is dedicated to the remembrance of this person.
