John Pogrant, age 73, a resident of the Town of Grover, WI died Wednesday morning at the Marinette County Hospital farm where he had been a resident for about 12 years. He was born in the Town of Grover on February 27, 1896 and spent his entire life farming.
He is survived by two brothers, Earl of Menominee, MI and Frank of Appleton, WI; two sisters, Mrs. Ted Kmiecik of the Town of Grover, WI and Amanda (Leonard) Shutes of Detroit, MI.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 pm at the Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home with the Rev. Joel Sauer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 pm todayd until the hour of services. Burial will be in the Town of Grover Cemetery.
