Alice Armstrong passed away 10 o'clock on Tuesday morning at the home of her brother Charles Heidenworth and family on Emery Avenue, {Peshtigo} where she had been ill since Saturday due to a severe cold with complication later developing. Her condidtion became grave on Monday afternoon.
The decedent was born in this city 67 years ago, being a survivor of the Peshtigo Fire and had lived in this city nearly all of her life, excepting a few years when she resided in the State of Washington.
Survivors are two brothers: George Heidenworth of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Charles of this city; two nieces: Mrs. James Clow of New Holstein and Mrs. Thorin of this city.
She was matron in the dining hall at the Girls College at Deleware, Ohio for a number of years and for the past five years was engaged as night attendant at the Marinette County Asylum. She was a member of the Woman's Relief Corps and the Eastern Star of this city.
The remains were removed to the Harper Funeral Home from where the Christian Science and Eastern Star services will be conducted at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon from the chapel. Interment will be held in the family plot of Riverside Cemetery.
