Former Bennington Resident Dies in North Adams Wednesday.
Caroline, wife of Jeremiah Hurlburt, died Wednesday at her home in Clarksburg, near North Adams, aged 42 years. She had been out of health for over a year, and of late her condition has been such that it was clear that the end could not be far away. She was a kind-hearted and neighborly woman and had many friends who will regret to learn of her death. She leaves her husband and six children.
Mrs. Hurlburt will be remembered as Miss Caroline Sexton of this town. Previous to their removal to Clarksburg, the family lived in the house now owned by Phillip B. Jennings.
Her funeral was held this afternoon. Rev. J. C. Tibbitts of North Adams officiating.
