Vivian L. Esterline, age 94, of Quincy, passed on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Drew's Place in Coldwater, Michigan.
Vivian was born on March 30, 1916 in Quincy, Michigan. She was the daughter of Harry and Ruby Kenyon Gowdy and graduated from Quincy High School in 1934.
Vivian furthered her education at Ypsilanti Normal School (now Eastern Michigan University) she earned her degree in early childhood education. She taught school at Jennings Elementary School in Quincy for 32 years. She was much loved by her students.
Vivian was a member of the Quincy United Methodist Church, life member of the Quincy Order of Eastern Star Chapter #12, Friend of the Quincy Library, and membership in the MEA and NEA.
She married Cleo Esterline in 1938 and he preceded her in death in 1998.
Vivian and Cleo had three children: Janice, James and John.
