Services for Mrs Gladys Augusta Potter, 69, of 1810 NW 18, will be at 10 am Wednesday at Epworth United Methodist Church with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery directed by Capitol Hill Funeral Home. Mrs Potter died Sunday at Baptist Medical Center.

She was born in Weatherford and came to Oklahoma City in 1929 from Tonkawa. She and her husband, William, had been associated with the Jones Boys Grocery Stores and later owned and operated drive-in restaurants.

She was a former member of Capitol Hill United Methodist Church where she was a charter member of her Sunday School class. She had also been in the Women's Society of Christian Service and the PTA. At the time of her death she was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She was a member of Amaranth, the White Shrine of Jerusalem, and the Eastern Star. She was Oklahoma's Grand Matron of the Eastern Star in 1965.

Survivors include her husband, William M.; a son, Robert E, Colorado Springs; a daughter, Levita K. Anderson, OKC; two brothers, Keith N. Jones, and Ralph L. Jones, both of OKC; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the ESTARL fund of the Eastern Star, Box 426, Broken Arrow, OK 74102.
