Kevin S. Lacsamana

ELKHART — Kevin Scott Lacsamana, 46, of Elkhart, passed away at 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Elkhart General Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born in Tuscon, Ariz., on Jan. 12, 1966. He married Ethel M. Bole on April 24, 1993, in Elkhart.
She survives at home along with his mother, Betty Chappell.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. and a memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart. Pastor John Blodgett of First Baptist Church of Elkhart will officiate. Burial of Kevin's cremated remains will be in Little Pine Cemetery in Goshen at a later date.
Kevin worked at Sam's Club in Dunlap for nearly 10 years, retiring in 2009 due to health problems.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elkhart, a graduate of Memorial High School class of 1985, a veteran of the U.S. Army and was an avid fan of the Michigan Wolverines and the Washington Redskins.
He will be greatly missed by his cats, Dixie and Pixie, and was best known for his "Greeting Card Ministry," where he would send greeting cards to friends and missionaries from all over the world.
