HAPPY CAMP - Harry E. Attebery, 89-year-old Happy Camp resident, passed away at Siskiyou General Hospital early this morning. He was born April 19, 1891 and was the last of 10 children born to John and Pauline Attebery. He was born at Jacksonville, Ore. but was raised in Quartz Valley and has lived in Happy amp the past 70 years where he followed mining and worked with the state and county highway departments for many years.
Survivors include his daughters, Mrs. Harriett Smith of Yreka and Frances Head of Happy Camp, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Happy Camp Cemetery.
