Frances Stoner Adams, native of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, resident of Berwick for 58 years; passed away Thursday February 27,2015 at the home of her daughter in Baton Rouge, LA.

Frances worked as a bookkeeper for 20+ years at Casso Fisheries in Berwick. After Frances gave her heart to Jesus Christ in 1954, she dedicated her life to the teaching of God's Word. She served as a Bible Teacher and Worship Leader at Twin City Gospel Temple for 34+ years. She was loved by all who knew her. She taught how to live a Christian life, but more importantly, she lived it daily. Her family was very blessed to have such a positive and loving force in their lives. Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

Frances is survived by one son, Homer Adams, Jr., of Houston, TX; one daughter, Susan Adams Furr and her husband, Thomas of Baton Rouge, LA; seven grandchildren, Amanda Barrilleaux, Ashley Adams, Leah Rowell, Erin Hurt, Lance LeBlanc, Joshua Furr, Katelyn Furr Barnett and 13 great-grandchildren.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Homer Adams, Sr.; her parents Douglas and Eugenia Stoner; three brothers, Douglas, Eugene and Austin Stoner.

A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed Monday March 2, 2015 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Lighthouse Community Church, 3801 Hwy 182, Berwick, LA 70342. Continuing Tuesday March 3, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. until the going home celebration at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Randy Plessala will conduct the services. Frances will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery.
