arles Henry Thomas, 57, a native of Miami, FL. and a resident of Charenton died, Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette.
Charles is survived by his wife of thirty six years, Mary Earlene Thomas of Charenton; two daughters, Kelly Thomas Cousins and her husband, Lennie, of Erath and Courtney A. Thomas-Malagarie and her husband, Josh, of Charenton; a brother, Raymond Thomas of Charenton; his granddaughter, Enya R. Thomas-Malagarie of Charenton; his two grandsons, Ethan Thomas Cousins and Ayden Victor Cousins both of Erath and two beloved pets, Wally and Willow.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Thomas; his mother, Ada Vilcan Thomas; and a brother Arthur Thomas.
The family requests that visitations be observed Monday, April 20, 2009 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. The mortuary will reopen Tues, April 21st at 9 a.m. until time of services.
Funeral Services for Charles will be held Tues, April 21st at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Father Bill Crumly officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Chitimacha Mausoleum in Charenton.
