MARSHALL - Funeral services for Raymond Loranze Devers, 66, of Scottsville, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Mooringsport, Louisiana. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Arrangements are by Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Devers died April 20, 2010.
Mr. Devers was born on April 11, 1944, in Greenwood, Louisiana. He worked for the T&P railroad now known as Missouri Pacific. Survivors include his wife, Billie Turner Devers; son, Raymond Earl Devers; daughters, Regenia Cooks, Ronda Devers, Rosalyn Hill, Catrina Devers and Rikkita Devers; brothers, Clarence M. Devers, John Henry Devers and Larry Devers; and sisters, Settie Perry and Martha Downs. Viewing will be 3-8 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2010, at the funeral home.
