Marjorie L. “Marge” Anderson, (nee Brackley), 92, of Elyria, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014, at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain, following a brief illness. She was born April 28, 1922 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident.
Marge worked as a clerk at the Sears and Roebuck store in Elyria. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria, a member of the former Holy Cross Catholic Church Altar and Rosary Society and a former volunteer at the St. Mary Church Hospitality House.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Leigh) Kindle of Elyria; sons, Timothy (Cindy, deceased) Anderson and Gregory (Mary) Anderson, both of Elyria and Jeffery Anderson of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Shelly, David, Mark, Scott, Chris, Spencer, Megan and Jeffery; great-grandchildren, Jack, Alana, and Susannah; sister, Betty Miller of Sandusky; brother, Paul Brackley of Vermilion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger in 1994; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Mickey Kindle; sisters, Lillian Rothgery and Phyllis Hartman; brothers, John and Harris Brackley.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 1, 2014, (Today) 5 until 7 P.M., at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, October 2, 2014, 10A.M., at St. Mary Church, Elyria. (Please meet at church). The Reverend Father Charles Diedrick, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
