Peggy Akers (nee Read), 47, passed away surrounded by her loving family at home in Elyria on June 15, 2012, following a long battle with breast cancer.
Peggy was born on September 26, 1964 in Elyria and was a life-long resident. She worked in Elyria as well, at EMH in the Patient Accounting Department.
The most important thing in Peggy's life was her family. Whether it was her children, grandchildren or even grand-dogs, family always came first.
Friends will be received on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A Funeral Service will be held from Midway Baptist Church, 41812 Griswold Road, Elyria on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 1 p.m. Pastor Chuck Keesee will officiate.
Interment will follow at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
Memorial donations to the Peggy Akers Memorial Fund can be made at any Lorain National Bank location, and are appreciated by the family.
